I have added more media to the Listen & Download section.
Now you have access to :

Tips !
- All the DVD rips are available also as smaller divx .avi files. You can find them in the JAS_Video and KKS_Video folders

The downloading can be slow, so pls be patient. This media is hosted personally at my house and my internet
connection is not really fast. I should upgrade it but do not have the funds for it yet.

Shopping and Vacation

I will be visiting India during the lovely Kartika time again. From Oct 16th till Nov 4th i will be improving on my spiritual life.
During this time you can of course order any article, but i will send it after the 4th of Nov. Please forgive me any for this inconvenience.
I have updated the shop page extensively. All articles are now on 1 page. Since there are not yet many articles this makes sense. So you get
an quick overview of our shop. After Nov 4th i will updated the shop with a new CD and DVD’s from Kadamba Kanana Swami and Jayadvaita Swami’s.

Busy, busy, busy with Updates

It was time again to update the website after almost 5 months. So here is what’s changed:
- Moved the KKS and JAS (in the top menu) to the Media page
The Main Menu does not have so many items anymore, so it should be easier and clearer to navigate for you
- Moved the previous Upload Page (in Media) to the Main Menu.
This provides easy access to those who want to upload. Also the uploads go directly to me instead of the ISP server in the USA.
- Changed the frontpage a bit. The links below the video have changed.
Prabhupada stays of course. I really like this video.

I am thinking to delete the different bhajan/classes/seminars pages. All these classes can be found in our download section anyway.
What do you think? Let me know.

To make uploading photos, classes and other media a bit easier i have created a new upload page.
Now you can easily upload your files to me. Please let me know when you send your media. Then i can check if everything went without errors!!

Western Digital’s Smartware is unremovable

Western Digital offered a “solution”, see link below, to their Smartware software. It involves a lot of steps, certainly not for a newbie… Image your mother doing this??
Come on WD! Sell hard drives without your annoying software……

I have been selling media for some time now which is stored on a hard drive. I was using Western Digital’s Passport serie hard drives because they are small, look nice and i never had problems with them. This week (6 oct 09) i bought another drive. It was the latest model (500 GB, model WDBAAA500AWT-EESN). When i plugged it in (windows) for the first time two screens popped up. One screen was the “cannot find a driver” -screen. And they other was the “Smartware screen”. And in the windows explorer screen 2! new devices were installed. The hard drive itself and a new CD drive…???. After some digging around i found out that this “Smartware” automatically installs the CD drive everytime! you plug it into your computer. And it is NOT REMOVABLE!!! Shame on you Western Digital

So since i cant remove this annoying smartware i cannot use the drive… Thanks WD….. Goodbye WD…

So be warned and buy the older models!!!!!

Improving, Updating and Extending

18 may 2009 : We upgraded the radio. We are still working on it so it could be offline sometimes.

The online classes and bhajans in the spiritual radio have been taken offline starting from Thursday, May 14th to increase the total amount of storage. Yes, we have been running out of space for our classes and bhajans. So the radio will probably be offline until Saturday late in the evening.
So please visit the radio again on Sunday the 17th of may.
